Radium hot Springs, BC
Named for its famous Hot Spring Pools, Radium is a charming mountain side Village in South Eastern British Columbia. While the area surrounding the Springs has long been an important healing location for the Ktunaxa Nation, the first recorded visits to the area occurred in 1841 when members of the Hudson's Bay Company first explored the Columbia Valley. Nowadays Radium is a beautifully scenic and quaint resort-like community hosting a myriad of little shops and restaurants.

The Village of Radium 'Hot Springs' hosts one of the most iconic hot spring pools in North America. A world class amenity for any destination, these pools are particularly unique in that the springs weave through a breathtaking mountain canyon near the eastward entrance to the Village.

The First Trading Post was built in Invermere around 1807 near the shores of Lake Windermere.
